Your account is kept private and secure. We use bank level 256 bit encryption to securely store your name, address, mobile number, date of birth, SSN, linked account number, linked account balance, and transactions log.
Your SSN is used to verify your identity when you sign up for Rising Tides and is needed to get your credit report from the credit bureaus.
Yes! All customers are automatically enrolled in Auto-Pay once your card is added.
You can make a payment in full for Rising Tides anytime in the payments tab of your client portal.
Once you make a credit repair account we start disputing or challenging items on your credit report.
To date, we have removed 100's of items for clients. However we cannot assure the deletion of any items at all.

No, you can not share your videos with others, that voids the contract.
Auto-Pay is designed to kick in only if the available balance in your account is more than the amount to be deducted. Banks seem to pick and choose which transactions they label as the "cause" of the overdraft but they aren't always accurate and ACH transfers like Auto-Pay are easy targets because they don't process immediately.

Challenge the bank by asking them:
“What the account balance when the payment was initiated?”

If the bank answers 'you had sufficient funds when the payment was initiated', then ask them:
“Why was this transaction labeled as the cause of the overdraft if there were sufficient funds available?”
Your credit score is updated in-app on a monthly basis.
You can find your credit score on the Profile tab of the app.
Oftentimes, credit bureaus determine your credit score based on different information, resulting in different scores. Sometimes the information they take into account to calculate your score may be stale or inaccurate.
We report to Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax every month. We report your credit line, current balance, account status, and payment history as it was on the day of your most recent statement close date.

We start reporting your Rising Tides account after your first billing cycle.

To see your credit report display positive payment history, make a payment by your due date.

To see your credit report display low credit utilization, make sure your account is in good standing on the last day of your billing cycle.

You can see your billing cycle on the Home tab of the Rising Tides app next to Current Cycle.

There are a number of reasons an account can be frozen. Send us an email here or feel free to call us at 740-529-9727 to figure out why.
You don’t need to do anything! The app is linked to the routing and account number associated with your checking account, not the number listed on your debit card. If you get a new card, the connection to Rising Tides is unaffected.

If you happen to change checking accounts with the same bank or change to a different bank, then you would need to take action by asking us to reset your account so you can link to another checking account.

Once you pay your account in full and if you're a secured customer, withdrawn your security deposit, you can close your account by going to the Profile Tab, then tap 'Account', then tap 'Close Account.'
You will not be charged a fee if you close your application or account but you cannot close your application or account unless you have a zero balance and have withdrawn your security deposit (if you are a secured customer).
Just like any credit account, when you close it or misuse it, you could see a negative impact on your credit score.
